Play every Friday afternoon (12;30 -1:00 pm) in weekly team events, skins, CTP, string pot, sign up in pro shop, limited availability.

All players are asked to sign up for the Dog Fight by Thursday at 12:00. If the Dog Fight has open times after 12:00 PM on Thursday the golf shop will open those tee times up to the public at their discretion. (Any special request for pairings or tee times will be accommodated if possible).

Eligibility – This competition will be open to any Annual Pass holders. All Verrado Golf Club staff will be approved by the Head Golf Professional. Any outside Golf Professionals will be by invitation only. Pass Holders are encouraged to bring guests each week and all guests are required to have an active USGA handicap.

Sign up, Start Time, & Location – Sign up can be done through the Founders Course Golf Shop at (623)-388-3008 or by emailing Nick Kondos at nkondos@verradogolfclub.com. Total number of participants is limited to 20 players (Nov. – May).

Entry is $35.00 – Each week’s entry fee will be $35. The entry free breakdown is $15 to net skins, $10 to team game, $5 to deuce pot and $5 to the string pot * 15% of all entries will be taken out of the total prize pool to pay for food and beverages after the round ($5 per entry)

2 Man Team Game (Net) – All 2 Man Teams will be made up of an A & B player and will be randomly drawn. 12 participants or less = 1st place 65% of prize pool & 2nd place = 35% of prize pool. More than 12 participants = 1st place 50% of prize pool, 2nd place 30% of prize pool, & 3rd place 20% of prize pool. Desert Rule is allowed (1 stroke penalty – drop line it entered the desert)

Skins – All skins will be net skins, and each participant will receive 100% of their course handicap as ½ shots. (Ex. a gross 4 with a shot would be a net 3.5, and if there was a gross 3 with no shots that gross 3 would win a skin. If there was no gross 3’s and only one gross 4 with a shot, the net 3.5 would win the skin.) All money collected will be divided up based on the total number of skins. Desert Rule is allowed.

TEEING GROUND Founders Course – All Pros will play the silver tees, and all amateurs will be allowed to play the tee box of their choice (silver, silver/white, or white). All handicaps will be adjusted based off the rating of the tees you select. Victory Course – All Pros will play the silver tees, and all amateurs will be allowed to play the tee box of their choice (silver, silver/white, or white) All handicaps will be adjusted based off the rating of the tees you select.

String Pot – The length of the string is 4ft. When a player hits a measurable shot the string will be placed around the base of the flagstick and stretched to its 4ft length. If any eligible player in the competition hits their first shot within or touches the 4 ft. string the player will win the monies collected for the week or weeks if carried over. If multiple players hit their first shot within the 4 ft. string the monies collected will be divided equally. If no player for that week hits their first shot within the 4ft., the monies collected will carry over to the next week. (String Pot will be on hole #17 at Founders Course & hole #16 on Victory Course)
