Event Description
Each spring, HOT hosts our Diamonds in the Rough Charity Golf Tournament and Party with a Purpose.
This two-day event provides primary fundraising for HOT’s Sugar Plum Fairies program. During the holiday season, Sugar Plum Fairies provides help and hope to struggling children in the West Valley by creating a magical Christmas experience which includes needed gifts of clothes and food. Since starting the program in 2019, HOT has impacted the lives of 674 children, their families, and the many volunteers who have participated.
Our Diamonds in the Rough Charity Golf Tournament kicks off this two-day event on May 2 with a four-person scramble. Multiple on-course games and mulligans make it a fun day for all skill levels. The event includes an on-the-go breakfast, practice facilities, a plated lunch, and an awards ceremony for three golf flights.
On day two (May 3), GET READY TO PARTY!! HOT’s Party with a Purpose is a fun and lively evening on the lawn, complete with appetizers, cocktails, games, live music, and dancing. You won’t want to miss the charity auction, either! There will be chances to win closest to the pin during the chipping contest and during the Ball Drop someone will win up to $3,000! Come celebrate with us as we close out HOT’s 2024 Signature Event!
Over the past five years, HOT has raised more than $450,000 to support the Sugar Plum Fairies program. We hope you will join us in making this year’s Diamonds in the Rough Charity Golf Tournament and Party with a Purpose a fun and successful fundraising event!
Registration for golf foursomes is current SOLD OUT. If you are interested in golfing please join the waitlist to get notified if we release more team registrations.
Cost
Diamonds in the Rough Golf Tournament: The cost for the tournament is $1,100 per foursome. This includes all of your green fees, tickets to the social event and lunch, as well as entry into all of the games with exception of the ball drop. Handicaps will be provided for those that don’t have a GHIN number.
Party with a Purpose: The cost attend the party only (no golf) is $75 per person and includes a fun and lively evening on the lawn, complete with appetizers, cocktails, games, live music and dancing.
Golf Schedule
Our Diamonds in the Rough Charity Golf Tournament kicks off with a four-person scramble and includes breakfast, practice facilities and lunch. Games, mulligan packages, and some just plain good golf can help each team to post their best score! Cash prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in three flights, as well as an awards for closest to the pin and longest drive by flight. We will feature dozens of unique auction items to bid on throughout the two-day event!
