If you are from the Midwest, then you’ve grown up eating itty bity tiny square hamburger sliders (usually really late at night or early morning) at White Castle burgers. Founded in 1921, before McDonalds, Burger King, Jack Box, and Shake Shack, White Castle has survived all these years and now expanding. It’s newest location will be right here in the West Valley located near Bullard Avenue and McDowell Road in Goodyear.
White Castle opened their first Valley location in Scottsdale in 2019. Then last year, the chain opened a location in Tempe near I-10 and Warner Road. Groundbreaking for the Goodyear location will take place “in the coming months.”
The Goodyear location will feature more than 50 dining room seats and a covered patio, a double drive-thru, along with state-of-the-art technology. White Castle officials say the location will also create 50 jobs in the area. Their Goodyear location will be near Goodyear’s new GSQ dining hub currently under development (and will also have a drive-thru Shake Shack).
