A New, Faster Experience Is Coming Soon to Our Community Website
This past holiday season marked a major milestone for VerradoWay. What began as a simple way to share local happenings has grown into a trusted community resource, with more than 9,000 residents now using VerradoWay.net to find events, businesses, and neighborhood news. With that growth came a clear message from the community: VerradoWay needed to be faster, simpler, and even easier to use.
In response to that momentum, I launched an effort to improve the overall experience — focusing on speed, clarity, more mobile-friendly and making it easier than ever to connect with neighbors. The result is a refreshed VerradoWay that is cleaner, more intuitive, and more focused on what matters most: community.
A Sharper Focus on Local Shopping & Dining
One of the biggest improvements is a more curated Business Directory, designed to highlight the shopping, dining, and service destinations residents care about most — especially the exciting growth happening in and around Verrado. The updated directory puts greater emphasis on key areas such as Main Street and Sunrise Market in downtown Verrado, Verrado Marketside & Village Grove, and the highly anticipated Verrado Marketplace opening this spring.
The focus also extends beyond Verrado’s immediate borders to include the new nearby destinations residents are beginning to visit, including Buckeye Commons, Roosevelt Commons, Downtown Buckeye, Goodyear GSQ, and Litchfield Park. VerradoWay reflects the reality that while home is Verrado, great food, shopping, and experiences also happen nearby and without having to drive too far to find what you want.
Three Easy Ways to Get Involved
At the heart of the new VerradoWay are three simple ways to jump in. The new Community Hub makes it easy to connect with neighbors through forums and conversations. The expanded Events section showcases what’s happening in Verrado and nearby — because fun doesn’t stop at neighborhood boundaries. And residents can now more easily discover and review local restaurants and businesses, helping support the places that make our area special.
Registered members can also post classifieds, list businesses or services, and share events — all starting at no cost, with optional upgrades available for those who want greater visibility.
The Wait Is Almost Over
There’s also been incredible interest in the upcoming VerradoWay newsletter, with more than 2,000 residents already on the waitlist. The wait is almost over. The newsletter will deliver local highlights, events, and community updates directly to subscribers — another way to stay connected without missing a thing.
The refreshed VerradoWay is launching soon, and it’s being built around the people who use it every day. Faster, cleaner, and more community-focused than ever — the next chapter of VerradoWay is just getting started.
VerradoWay.net is an independent, resident-owned and operated community website specifically for the residents of Verrado and Victory.
