The eagerly awaited Sunrise Market, set to enhance Verrado’s Main Street charm, held its grand opening on Saturday, December 7, 2024 from 4-6 pm prior to the Hometown Holidays Tree Lighting. Located at the corner of Village Street and Sunrise Lane, this new experiential center aims to enrich the community with diverse shopping, dining, and artistic experiences. NOTE: Most of the merchants are finishing their spaces or waiting for their city permits to open so you’ll need to check with each vendor for their opening date. But, if you want to look good, we hear that Studio Linea and Signature Barbershop will be among the first to open so be sure to check them out.
Opening Celebration: Pre-Party Festivities
To commemorate the opening, Sunrise Market is hosting a festive Pre-Party from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on December 7, leading up to Verrado’s Hometown Holidays Tree Lighting. Residents and visitors are invited to partake in a variety of family-friendly activities:
- Explore New Businesses: Discover the array of new establishments that contribute to Sunrise Market’s vibrant atmosphere.
- Whimsical Art Tour: Embark on a guided tour showcasing the market’s artistic installations, reflecting Verrado’s commitment to integrating art into community spaces.
- “I Spy with My Little Eye” Art Contest: Engage in a playful art-themed contest for a chance to win a keepsake prize. The first 100 participants will receive special rewards.
- Complimentary Hot Cocoa and Face Painting: Enjoy free hot cocoa and delight in festive face painting, adding to the holiday spirit.
- Culinary Samples: Savor delicious samples from local favorites such as Haymaker, BoSa Donuts, Bobazona, and West Rose Tasting Room, available while supplies last.
- Studio Linea Salon Open House: Visit Studio Linnea Salon for an open house featuring goodie bags for the first 100 visitors, complimentary consultations, a champagne bar, and a glitter braid bar.
- Torch + Kiln Jewelry Station: Explore unique jewelry offerings at the Torch + Kiln station.

Bobazona will bring its locally owned “bubble tea” shop serving boba, tea, coffee, slush and energy drinks to Sunrise Market. Boba is a popular cold-served drink that includes tapioca or fruit-flavored pearls crafted in a refreshing variety of flavors. Bobazona also offers an elite collection of Italian gelato and sorbetto in signature flavors.
BoSa Donuts, known as the Valley’s classic donut shop with over 24 locations, will serve up fluffy donuts, cinnamon rolls, apple fritters, eclairs, coffee drinks, breakfast and lunch sandwiches, fruit smoothies and hot cocoa.
DeGiNO Coffee Bar is a locally based, family business owned by third generation coffee plantation owners. Inocente Cayetano’s grandfather and father began the family business as coffee growers in Nayarit, Mexico. “We are proud that our gourmet Arabica coffee is organically grown without chemicals or pesticides. The plantation’s shady, low-acidic terrain at high altitude creates coffee beans with full-bodied flavor,” Cayetano said. DeGiNo Coffee’s logo is a heart, with their three children: Dexiree, Gianna, and Noah at the heart of it all.
Haymaker is an anchor for Sunrise Market. According to Joey Lucidi, founder of Westside Concepts,, “This concept is a local neighborhood joint featuring the finest burgers and homestyle breakfast served seven days a week, because we believe in starting your day off right.” Haymaker is designed to become a go-to spot for family occasions and everyday meals. They also offer a variety of silversmithing and enameling classes ranging from beginner to advanced; and plan to host specialty workshops and events for people of all ages and skill levels to learn about the art of jewelry.

Sunrise Market in Verrado is debuting a captivating interactive art collection during its grand opening festivities on December 7th. The highly anticipated lifestyle center, located within walking distance of Main Street, Verrado’s downtown district, promises to blend shopping, dining, and entertainment with inspiring artistry.
The centerpiece of the celebration is an art collection featuring two stunning murals by international street artist Kelsey Montague, known for her #WhatLiftsYou campaign. Montague’s work includes a flock of Arizona-native birds and an interactive cactus garden with a swing.
