Café Zupas Opens in Verrado on Oct 12
One of the most anticipated new restaurant openings will be happening on Thursday, Oct 12 when Café Zupas opens their doors at 10:30 am on the NE corner of Verrado Way and McDowell Rd (behind the new Cold Beer & Cheeseburgers Restaurant). The Verrado location will have a drive-thru, pick-up window, and indoor/outdoor seating. You can view their MENU here. that features fresh sandwiches, soups, deserts, and more. It’s seems like a Panera Bread on steroids.

The Craftsman Cocktails & Kitchen Opens in Verrado on Oct 13
Rumors have it that The Craftsman opening on Oct 13 in the Fry’s Marketplace Center (NW Corner of Indian School Rd & Jackrabbit Tr) will be a really unique restaurant with a speakeasy and an awesome outdoor patio! Although looking inside right now, it seems nearly impossible that they will be ready to open mid-month, as planned—so we’ll check back on their progress.
The Craftsman has 2 other locations in Scottsdale and Tempe, so the Verrado location will be their 3rd. Their MENU has some interesting items including Lolipop Wings, fine bourbon, and big cocktail selection.
