It’s snake season once again in Verrado and the surrounding areas. Right around the corner we’ll also have to contend with javelinas. While rattlesnake season’s peak is still a few months away, the AZ snakes are already exceptionally active. Verrado hikers, golfers, pet walkers, and runners need to take extra precaution during this time. You can view the attached poster to help identify the snakes that are either friend or foe. If you do have a close encounter with one of these snakes, you can call the Buckeye Fire Dept non emergency phone number (623) 349-6700 and they will promptly arrive at your home to remove the creature.
