If you moved to Verrado in 2024, then you are in for a treat as Holidays in Verrado are always very special. First big holiday up this season is Halloween ’24…and if you are ambitious enough then jump right in to the spirit and decorate your Verrado House and let the terror begin!

Submit your home for the Halloween Home Decorating Contest and let your creativity shine. Whether you’re creating a spooky haunted house, a fun and silly display, or something totally unique, we want to see it!   This Spooktacular event is open to all Verrado residents, and your neighbors will be the ones to decide the winners. So get creative, show off your Halloween spirit, and let the decorating begin!

Contest registration: Oct. 1- Oct. 7
Judging: Oct. 10 – Oct. 17
Winners announced: Oct. 24

Prizes
Each winning home will receive a yard sign to display, bragging rights, and a gift card.

– 1st Place: $60 gift card
– 2nd Place: $50 gift card
– 3rd Place: $40 gift card
– Over the top: $100 Visa gift card

Lights on Evergreen Shows – We are awaiting the announcement to see if the haunted house at 3131 N Evergreen Street returns this year, with the hassles they had to endure last year from the HOA.  Fingers crossed because the famous Lights on Evergreen is tremendous!
