Residential growth
- A single-family for-rent product of approx 160 detached single-story apartment homes located south of McDowell Road adjacent to the western border of Verrado is in planning. The community is expected to have its own recreational facilities to avoid further strain on Verrado’s existing rec facilities, such as a swimming pool. Land improvements to begin Q1 2022 and leasing in mid to late 2022.
Area road improvements
- Road network design continues for Marketside East to include the extension of McDowell Road to the east property line connecting the existing McDowell Road on the east side of Tuthill Wash that provides direct access to Jackrabbit Trail.
- In addition, Acacia Way will be extended south to McDowell Road. Additional improvements will be installed along Verrado Way and Market Street east of Verrado Way with work expected to begin Q2 2022.
