The wait is over….the new Cold Beer & Cheeseburgers Restaurant is now open in the former Verrado Welcome Center on the northeast corner of Verrado Way and McDowell Rd in the Marketside District. If you’ve never eaten at one of their other 14 restaurants around town, then you are in for a treat. The food is tasty, the beer selection is amazing, and their prices are quite reasonable. But I believe the real sleeper on the menu are their out-of-this-world milk shakes—especially this time of the year! Plus they have daily food and drink specials.
This is the 15th location from this local Phoenix-born chain. It’s not their biggest restaurant with 5300 sq ft inside and an additional 1350 sq ft wrap-around misted patio, but it is packed with lots of large screen TV’s located throughout the restaurant and nearly wall-to-wall in their amazing enormous bar area. The patio looks like it’ll be hoping (after the heat). So, if you are a sports fan, this is your place! And if you have a wait for a table, just know it’s worth the wait.
