Haymaker Opens 4th Location at Verrado’s Sunrise Market
OK, I’m biased. I live near Main Street and ecstatic to see our little “Verrado Downtown” expand with more new shops and restaurants. Our very loooong wait for our new Sunrise Market to be built is now beginning to pay dividends with new openings happening fast and furious.
Remember the ‘old days’ when our dining options in and near Verrado were limited to Tempo Urban Bistro and Ciao Grazie on Main St, the VIC, and the Verrado Grill? All great choices, but if we wanted more variety, we had to head out on the I-10 (with all that construction a few years ago). Since then, we’ve had lots more restaurants begin to open – all a short golf cart ride away – and Haymaker is the newest. Haymaker’s owners are Verrado residents and that makes this a very special spot.
Family-owned restaurant Haymaker opened its brand-new location in Sunrise Market (20990 W Sentinel Dr) on March 4. Founded by Westside Concepts in 2013, this expansion will mark the concept’s fourth location to cook up their award-winning breakfast, burgers, and an extensive whiskey selection.
The Verrado restaurant will offer an all-day menu of classic favorites like country fried steak and eggs, 100 percent Angus chuck beef burgers, and signature specialties like the Haymaker Benedict and Pulled Pork Skillet.
Designed by Social Design Studio, the new location combines rustic elements with a modern aesthetic, farmhouse influences and an open layout to bring comfort and luxury to guests. The 4,800-square-foot restaurant will feature a main dining room, large bar and patio for indoor and outdoor seating.
