Annual tree lighting this Saturday

Gather with family, friends, and neighbors at the Village Green as we illuminate this year’s tree. In addition to the tree lighting (promptly at 7 p.m.), other events include live music and talents from local schools.

Food trucks will be on hand if you need a bite to eat. There will also be arts and crafts for the whole family (part of the Santa Experience – more information below), both Saturday and Sunday, at The Center on Main.

Tentative schedule of evening events is as follows:

• 6 p.m. – Verrado Community Life welcome and thanks
• 6:05 p.m. – VHS Band
• 6:05 p.m. – VHS Choir
• 6:30 p.m. – VES Choir
• 6:50 p.m. – Santa arrival
• 6:55 p.m. – Good neighbor winners announced
• 7:00 p.m. – Light the tree
