Concert FAQs

  • Is the Concert on Main Street a family friendly event?  There won’t be children’s activities at the Concert, so we encourage you to leave the kids at home and make it a date night or a night with your neighborhood friends without the kids. The following day at the Community Carnival you’ll find plenty of activities for all ages, kids included!
  • Do I need to register for the Concert on Main Street if I live in Verrado? Yes, you must register to reserve your wristbands by Sunday, Feb. 26. Wristbands are required to enter the concert (for those 3 years and older) and are only available for Verrado residents. Each Verrado household is allowed to reserve up to 6 wristbands; duplicate requests won’t be honored.
  • Why is registration required for the Concert on Main Street?  Due to the popularity of this event, limited space in the event venue, and the rapid growth of the community, registration is required to ensure only Verrado residents are attending. When an event has higher attendance than anticipated, it can greatly affect event safety. We want to be well prepared, and we want all residents to have a safe and enjoyable experience.
  • What if I need more than 6 concert wristbands for my household? If your immediate household (those living in your Verrado home) is more than 6 people and thus you need more than 6 wristbands, email Steve Myatt (smyatt@coherelife.com) to request additional wristbands. Attendance is limited to Verrado residents only.
  • What if I do not register before registration closes on Feb. 26?  If you didn’t reserve concert wristbands by Feb. 26, you won’t be able to attend the Concert on Main Street (but you can still hear the music anywhere nearby).
  • When can I pick up my wristbands?  You can pick up your pre-reserved wristbands at The Center on Main during these dates/times: Feb. 27 | 5 – 9 p.m.; Feb. 28 – March 2 | 9 a.m. – 9 p.m.
  • What if I’m not able to pick up my wristbands during the designated dates/times?  If you’re not able to pick up your wristbands during the pick-up period, you can pick up your concert wristbands between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. on March 4 at the northeast concert entrance (The Center on Main parking lot/West Sentinel Drive). Be prepared to wait in line if you choose this pick-up option. You cannot pick up carnival wristbands at the concert.
  • Are concert wristbands the same as carnival wristbands?  No, each event’s wristbands will be distinctive and can only be used for the event it’s intended for.
  • Can I set up chairs or reserve a spot on the Village Green?  Residents may only place chairs in advance. Be advised that the Verrado Community Association and Verrado Assembly are not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged items. Any items other than chairs (bags, ice chests, etc.) will be removed and held at The Center on Main for you to claim after the event. Your chair may be relocated if it blocks event space or the ADA path.
  • What else do I need to know?
    • Special needs accommodations: An ADA seating area will be provided. Ask staff where it is located upon entry.
    • Food & beverages: No outside food or beverages are allowed, other than sealed water or soda bottles. Food and beverages will be available for purchase, including alcohol (beer, seltzer and mixed drinks) for those 21+ with a valid ID.
    • What not to bring: No weapons. Glass is prohibited in the event area; residents will be asked to dispose of or remove any glass items before entering. Coolers, bags, etc. are subject to search.
    • Facility closures: The Center on Main will be closed on March 4, including the parking lot.
    • Street closures: Several streets around Main Street and the Village Green will be closed on March 4 from 5 a.m. to midnight. Do not leave vehicles parked on the street in these areas overnight on March 3 to avoid possible delays in event set up and staging.

About Jerrod Lee Niemann:

Born July 24, 1979, Niemann is an American country music singer and songwriter. He has released three albums for Sea Gayle Music/Arista Nashville: Judge Jerrod & the Hung Jury (2010), Free the Music (2012), and High Noon (2014); and one album, This Ride (2017), for Curb Records. These albums have produced a combined ten Top 40 entries including the Platinum Number 1 singles “Lover, Lover” (a cover of Sonia Dada’s “You Don’t Treat Me No Good”) and “Drink to That All Night” and Gold Top 5 single “What Do You Want”. He has also co-written three singles for Garth Brooks: the chart topping Chris LeDoux tribute “Good Ride Cowboy”, as well as “That Girl Is a Cowboy” and “Midnight Sun”. Jamey Johnson, Lee Brice, Blake Shelton, Colbie Caillat, Diamond Rio, The Cadillac Three, Mark Chesnutt, John Anderson, Neal McCoy, Christian Kane, and Julie Roberts have also recorded Niemann’s songs.

Niemann parted ways with Arista Nashville in January 2016, shortly after releasing another single titled “Blue Bandana”.[6] In March 2016, Niemann signed a record deal with Curb Records. His first single for the label was “A Little More Love”, a duet with Lee Brice. It reached the top 30 of the Country Airplay chart.

In March 2017, Niemann released “God Made a Woman,” which he called his “favorite song I’ve ever recorded.”[7] Niemann’s wife, Morgan, is featured in the music video. It served as the lead-off single to his fourth studio album, This Ride, which was released via Curb Records on October 6, 2017.[8] “I Got This” was released as the album’s second single, and it peaked in the top 40 of the Country Airplay chart.[9]

After exiting Curb, Niemann independently released a digital-only album entitled Lost & Found in 2020. The release includes two singles: “Ghost Rider” and “Tequila Kisses”.[10]
